Frequently Asked Questions
1. What time are your shows?

Every Thursday through Sunday there is a show at 8pm. On Friday and Saturday there is an additional show at 10:15pm.

2. How long are your shows?

Most shows average about an hour and 45 minutes.

3. Which BART station are you close to?

Take BART to the Montgomery Station and then connect at street level to the outbound 30 Stockton bus at Kearny and Post, which goes directly to the club on Columbus Avenue.

4. How do I get there?

See the directions page on our web site.

5. Where can I park?

Street parking is sometimes available, otherwise we validate for a reduced rate at the Anchorage Garage located at 500 Beach St. at Leavenworth.

6. Is there a dress code?

Dress is casual.

7. How can I buy tickets?

You can call the box office between 3 and 6pm Thursday through Monday at 415-928-4320 to buy tickets over the phone, or come by during business hours, 3pm until showtime on show days. Tickets can also be purchased online at any time at www.livenation.com.

8. How do I book a private party for a group of 20 or more?

Just contact General Manager Carla Flores, after looking through the information on our private parties page.

9. What time do doors open?

6:45 for the 8pm show, 10:00 for the 10:15 show.

10. What time should I get there?

All seating is first-come, first served. Doors open at 6:45 and the room usually starts filling up by around 7:30 for the 8pm show. A line usually forms around 9:30 for the 10:15 show.


11. What is the seating like?

All seating is first-come, first served.

12. How can I get a really good seat?

Get here early.

13. Do you have reserved seating?

All seating is first-come, first served, no reserved seating.

14. How much are the tickets?

Ticket prices vary by performer and from night to night. Check the calendar page for a full listing of ticket prices for all shows currently on sale. $.50 is included in all ticket prices to go to The Bill Graham Foundation and other local charities.

15. Is there a drink minimum?

There is a 2 drink minimum per person.

16. How much are the drinks?

The price varies depending on what you are drinking, but the range is from $3.75 to upwards of $10.00.

17. What if I don’t drink?

Non-alcoholic beverages also satisfy the 2 drink minimum.

18. Can I buy food instead of drinks?

Food purchases do not count for the 2 drink minimum.

19. What kind of food do you have?

We have a full dinner menu with everything from appetizers to entrees and deserts. See our menu online.

20. Do you take dinner reservations?

All seating is first-come, first-served and you can order dinner as soon as you are seated for the show. Dinner is served in the showroom.

21. What if I lost my ID?

Everyone is required to have a valid photo ID to enter the club.

22. Do you have an age limit?

All shows are 18 and over with valid ID.

23. Can I bring my (under 18) year old?

No, only 18 and over will be permitted.

24. Can I switch from the 8pm to the 10pm show? Or from one day to another?

All tickets are non-exchangeable.

25. Can I get a refund if I didn’t use my tickets?

All tickets are non-refundable once they are charged. If you made a reservation through the box office, you can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the show without being charged. There are no day of show cancellations. If you bought tickets online the tickets are non-refundable and you cannot cancel them, as per the instructions given on the website when you purchase them.

26. Can I give my tickets to someone else?

We require the ticket holder to pick up tickets using a photo ID. If you bought tickets online and would like someone else to pick them up, you can change the name for pick-up in your order on your account. You will need to log back into your account on Livenation.com to do this.

27. Is there a way to get tickets even if you’re sold out?

Most shows will have a stand-by line that starts around half an hour before show time. If any tickets become available after all ticket holders are let into the venue, we will sell those tickets to the stand-by line on a first-come, first served basis.

28. When are tickets for _______ going on sale?

All tickets currently on sale will be listed on the calendar of our website. As soon as we have information about a show it will be put onto the calendar, so check that frequently for information regarding upcoming shows. You can also sign up for our mailing list through the web site.

29. Do you take credit cards?

We take Visa, MasterCard and American Express.

30. How can get a job at Cobb's Comedy Club?
